Problem Solving

Identify and eliminate losses. Engage staff in solving company problems and learn to generate ideas through practical tools, correctly determine the root causes of emerging obstacles, and systematically eliminate them.

Practical Classes:
Instructor's visit for a practical session at the site of your business
Duration:
10:00 - 17:30 2 days of training at the KAIZENCENTER production base, 4 weeks of online meetings and individual visits to your business
Material Consolidation:
Individual support in implementing Kaizen over the course of a month
Course Volume:
2 days of productive training, 4 weeks of support to implement Kaizen tools into your business

Day 1, 10:00-17:00 

 

“Quality Circles”. The problem - a source for company improvements.

Example of conducting quality circles in Japan.

• Principles of quality circles. Rules for conducting.

• Problem-solving algorithm.

• Parameters for evaluating quality circles activities.

Teambuilding for quality circles, Belbin test.

Exercise. Team formation.

Business game “Production”.

Exercise Filling out the Problem Resolution Report (PRR).

System for collecting problems and suggestions in the company.

Types of initiatives. Options for collecting problems and suggestions.

Why ideas are not submitted. Correct problem formulation. 5W, 1H.

Exercise “Ishikawa Diagram”.

Exercise “5 Whys”.

Review of module 3 homework “Mapping”.

 

Day 2, 10:00 - 17:00

 

Practice at an actual enterprise.

Brainstorming.

Application of “5 Whys” and “Ishikawa Diagram” tools on the

enterprise.

Filling out the problem resolution report following a simulated quality circle,

creating an action plan for the enterprise.

Homework.

 

4 weeks after the training

 

Implementation of methods in your company, completing the homework.
